Economisti Associati has had a strong international orientation since its early days. The first contract with the World Bank for an assignment in Sub Saharan Africa was won in 1993. Soon after, Economisti Associati started operating in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. In the early 2000s, operations further expanded to Latin America, Asia and the Mediterranean region. Today, Economisti Associati has worked in over 70 countries.

Clients include private firms, business associations, governments, public entities and international organizations (World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Finance Corporation, MIGA, European Commission, European Parliament, European Investment Bank, European Investment Fund). Over 80% of Economisti Associati's turnover relates to international projects.
